Darya Dolzikova comments on the upcoming US-Iran nuclear talks

"The opening of a diplomatic track between the US and Iran is a very welcome development and comes at a critical time. But it’s worth tempering expectations somewhat. If done right, Saturday will be the start of a long and complicated process. Washington needs to come to the table with reasonable expectations of Iran. At the same time, the US cannot be so eager to secure a quick deal that it lets Tehran get away with meaningless concessions and fails to address critical concerns - which would just kick this can down the road. Iran needs to clearly demonstrate that it means to engage seriously and not just play for time."
