Innovations across artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, quantum computing and synthetic biology offer extraordinary opportunities for prosperity, health and safety. Nonetheless, globalisation and national competition underline the challenges and risks that accompany these technologies.

In this project, RUSI brings together experts from government, industry, academia and civil society to address these issues. Over the course of three events, the project focuses on geostrategic instability, international partnerships and geopolitical competition, and national sovereign capabilities. From these discussions, key themes and pressing issues will be highlighted in a RUSI publication.
