Hugh Oberlander

Hugh is the Programme Manager for Cyber Research at RUSI. He supports the management and implementation of the team’s projects focusing on cyber security, capacity building, and national security challenges associated with emerging technologies. He also coordinates communications and stakeholder engagement activities for the research group.

Prior to joining RUSI, he was an Administrative & Programme Support Consultant at the Commonwealth Secretariat, where he assisted with the delivery and management of technical projects within the Secretariat’s education programme.

Hugh holds an MSc in Nationalism Studies from the University of Edinburgh and an undergraduate MA (Hons) degree in International Relations from the University of St Andrews.
