Recording: Deputy Secretary of the US Treasury Wally Adeyemo on Sanctions, Illicit Finance and Security

The Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies at RUSI is delighted to welcome Deputy Secretary of the US Treasury Wally Adeyemo for a public event featuring prepared remarks and a discussion on a range of topics, including the US Department of the Treasury’s efforts to deny Hamas and other terrorist organisations the ability to raise and use funds and the strong collaboration between the US and Europe on degrading Russia’s ability to financially sustain its illegal war in Ukraine and other shared priorities.

Remarks from Deputy Secretary Adeyemo are followed by a one-on-one conversation with Tom Keatinge, Director of the Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies at RUSI, on illicit financing, the US-China relationship, and critical minerals and supply chains, as well as a subsequent Q&A session with participants.
