Recording: RUSI Annual Security Lecture 2022 with Sir Jeremy Fleming, Director of GCHQ
This year's Annual Security Lecture: 'If China is the Question, What is the Answer?' is given by Sir Jeremy Fleming KCMG CB, Director of Government Communications Headquarters, on the evolving technological environment in the context of national security and geopolitics.
Sir Jeremy Fleming explores the nexus between technology, security and the economy. With the rise of China in the technology arena, he will outline how diverging values and approaches to national security interests can result in drastically different outcomes for society. What collective action is needed by the UK and its allies to maintain our security and to offer a responsible and competitive alternative?
The lecture is chaired by Shashank Joshi, Defence Editor of The Economist and RUSI Advisory Board member.
