Biography

Wojciech Pawlus leads RUSI’s Countering Proliferation Financing (CPF) Technical Assistance Programme. Since joining in 2018, he has delivered UN sanctions implementation trainings and roundtables in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe. He shapes the sanctions-focused work at the Centre for Finance and Security and positions the Centre’s expertise with key stakeholders around the World including the Financial Action Task Force and major Western governments.

Wojciech has developed the CPF Programme’s scope to incorporate new areas, such as cryptocurrencies, the impact on DNFBPs and open-source intelligence. He has promoted CPF compliance in over 80 jurisdictions worldwide and remains at the forefront of the global campaign to stop proliferators and PF enablers through practical actions.

Wojciech holds a BA in War Studies from King’s College London and an M.Phil in International Peace Studies from Trinity College Dublin.
