Giada Del Russo

Research Analyst

Biography

Giada is a research analyst working on the Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI) for Proliferation and Nuclear Policy at RUSI.

Prior to joining RUSI, Giada worked as a programme associate with the Middle East Treaty Organization, an organisation that seeks to eradicate Weapons of Mass Destruction from the Middle East. She was also an intern for the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Washington DC working on transatlantic relations and international security, and is a current Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Giada holds a BA (Hons) in War Studies and History from King’s College London and is currently pursuing an MA in International Peace and Security from the Department of War Studies at King’s, where she focuses on nuclear issues and international law. Her interests include disarmament, technology and space security.

The UK Project on Nuclear Issues (UK PONI) is a cross-generational network which encourages young scholars and professionals to engage with established experts on contemporary nuclear issues.
