Edward Arnold, a research fellow at the respected Royal United Services Institute, said: “From a Russian perspective this has been a poorly planed, poorly executed and, most importantly, a poorly led operation at the political military level. “That said, the odds are still stacked against the Ukrainian forces. The next three to four weeks will prove decisive for both sides and we are entering a delicate phase that might define the ultimate outcome of the war.”
