Dr Sebastian Sons

Dr Sebastian Sons is a political analyst focusing on the Gulf states at the Center for Applied Research in Partnership with the Orient (CARPO). His fields of interest are the Gulf states’ development assistance, migration policies, and German-Gulf relations. His PhD thesis deals with Pakistani migration to Saudi Arabia. He is author of the book Built on Sand. Saudi Arabia – A problematic ally (in German).
