Sonya Merkova

Sonya Merkova has extensive experience of conducting human rights research on in the context of peace and reconciliation. She has designed and led multiple research projects on the human rights implications of VE with organisations like Amnesty International and UNAMA in Afghanistan, and has produced a number of research papers. Sonya has an LLM in International Crimes and Justice from the UN Inter-Regional Crime and Justice Research Institute and an MA in International Politics and Human Rights Law from City University, London.
