Ardi is a Research Fellow in organised crime and policing. His research currently focuses on the applications of intelligence and technology in the criminal justice system in the UK, in particular the use of big data, AI, and machine learning. Before joining RUSI, Ardi completed an MSc in International Social and Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He achieved a Distinction in his dissertation, where he compared the extent to which UK governments were able to establish narratives following riots in 1981 and 2011 to serve their pre-determined policy agendas. Ardi also achieved a First Class degree in his undergraduate studies in BA Philosophy, Politics and Economics at King’s College London.

Outside of academia, Ardi has experience in the think-tank industry working for Civitas where he carried out an independent research project examining the nature of violent crime in Hackney in 2018, as well as the Next Century Foundation where he drafted written statements for UN meetings and organised conferences in relation to peacekeeping in the Middle East. Ardi also has a part-time teaching role with Civitas Schools where he teaches Maths and English to children of primary school age every week.
