Major Paul Goodall

Major Paul Goodall is the Chief of the General Staff’s Visiting Fellow in the Military Science team at RUSI.

A serving Regular British Army Infantry Officer, Paul’s experience includes regimental duty assignments in an armoured infantry battalion, and command of a company in the Royal Gurkha Rifles. His staff appointments include postings to a brigade headquarters and in the Army’s Basing and Infrastructure Directorate. Operationally he served in Afghanistan and Kosovo. He also has worked and has a professional interest in the personnel space, specifically training and development.

Paul has a BA in History from the University of York. His research interests include the future demands on personnel in military forces, and the future of Land Warfare.
