Biography
Zaid Eyadat is Professor of Political Science and International Relations, and the founding dean of the Prince Hussein School of International Studies at the University of Jordan. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Southern California. His extensive expertise covers conflict and peace studies, geostrategy, strategic, and security analysis, game theory, human rights, public policy, political Islam, Middle East politics, and refugee and migration issues.
Professor Eyadat is former Director of the Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan. He has held prominent leadership roles, including Vice President of International Affairs, Quality, and Accreditation, as well as Dean of the Prince Hussein School of International Studies at the University of Jordan. He is serving as a member of the Royal Committee to modernise the political system in Jordan and a member of Jordan Economic Vision 2030.
A recognised authority in Middle East politics and security, Professor Eyadat has made substantial contributions to shaping policy and strategic dialogue both locally and internationally. His research and advisory work have influenced high-level decision-making, and his expertise is highly sought after by global institutions.
As a leading scholar in strategic analysis and political Islam, he offers critical insights on pressing regional issues, solidifying his role as a key advisor in the field.
