Thomas des Garets Geddes is the founder and editor of Sinification, a newsletter that curates, analyses and translates key articles and speeches by China's intellectual elite, focusing on the PRC's international relations.
Thomas was previously an analyst at the Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS) and from 2006 to 2012 ran an online retail business based in Europe and China.
He holds a BA in Chinese Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), an MSc in Sociology with a focus on Chinese nationalism from the University of Oxford and is fluent in Mandarin.
