Isabella Chase is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies at RUSI. At the CFCS, Isabella leads a research cluster on ‘Financial Crime Futures’ which assesses the role of technology in compliance, evolving AML/CFT policy frameworks and how inclusive financial integrity can be achieved. Her other research interests include new payment technologies, e-money, sanctions and financial crime involving high value goods such as art. Isabella is the host of the CFCS podcast, the Suspicious Transaction Report, which is now in its third season.
Prior to joining RUSI, Isabella was the financial crime writer at RegTech, ComplyAdvantge. She holds an MA in Intelligence and International Security with distinction from the War Studies department at King’s College London.

Transatlantic Response to Illicit Finance Taskforce Member
Thoughts on the Taskforce:
The US and UK must lead by example to tackle global illicit financial flows, without a strong base and coordinated response we make it too easy for actors to profit from illicit finance. TARIF creates an opportunity to define this response and increase momentum on this vital topic.
