Isabella Chase is a Research Fellow at RUSI's Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies. Her work predominately concentrates on assessing the UK’s response to financial crime. She also assists with the Institute’s work on sanctions and counter-proliferation financing. Before joining RUSI, Isabella was the Financial Crime Writer at RegTech firm, ComplyAdvantage where she monitored global AML/CFT regulations and wrote about their impact on financial services.
Isabella received a master’s degree in Intelligence and International Security from King’s College London in 2016, her dissertation assessed the role the internet has played in funding terrorism since 9/11. She holds a BA Hons in Politics and Communication Studies from the University of Liverpool.
