On 22 March 2023, the Jordanian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Ayman Safadi, visited RUSI for a roundtable discussion on Jordan’s perspectives on a range of developments across the Middle East region.
Mr Safadi joined a roundtable with RUSI researchers, government analysts, other think tank fellows and media representatives to discuss Jordan’s role in a rapidly changing Middle East. Mr Safadi outlined Jordan’s commitment to promoting stability and security in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Jordan’s Syria initiative and discussed the historic and close relationship between the Hashemite Kingdom and the UK.
