Sir, Edward Lucas is correct to point to the UK’s addiction to dirty money. Like the addict craving “just one more hit”, the Johnson government uses the euphemism “when parliamentary time allows” to justify repeated delays in taking the steps required to strengthen the country’s defences against this flow of dirty money.
