Sir, The strikes by the US and UK in Yemen are short-sighted and will not resolve the Houthi problem in the Red Sea. Since the Houthis took control over the Yemeni capital, the international community has shown a lack of interest in Yemen and largely ignored the plight of the Yemeni people.
