Israel has ignored US warnings and has ‘very few friends right now’, according to former State Department advisor

We spoke to Dr Karin von Hippel, who’s director general of the Royal United Services think tank and formerly of the US State Department and started by asking her about comments by the US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan that the US weren’t there to tell the Israeli government what to do. But did she think, at this stage of the war, that is exactly what’s needed?
