Hamas Financing
Iran is thought to support Hamas financially to the tune of 100 million dollars a year. But most of the one billion dollar war chest the group is thought to have accumulated, comes from investments. From tower blocks in Turkey to copper mines in Sudan, Hamas’ financial network spreads far and wide, carefully constructed to avoid Western sanctions. And some of it could also be hiding in London.
