Chinese and British Perspectives on the Road to the NPT 2010
A study exploring the non-proliferation policies of these two major nuclear powers at a critical time for arms control
The RUSI Asia Security Programme and Nuclear Security Project are pleased to announce the launch in Beijing of Chinese and British perspectives on the road to the NPT 2010, a report exploring the non-proliferation policies of these two major nuclear powers at a critical time for arms control. Â
This study explores and identify areas of agreement between China and the UK across the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) agenda, in the run-up to the 2010 diplomatic conference that will review the treaty.
British and Chinese experts fielded by the China Institute for International Strategic Studies (CIISS) and RUSI have collaborated over the course of 2009 to exchange views on furthering the NPT goals of counter-proliferation and nuclear disarmament.
