Working at RUSI
Find out what it's like to work at RUSI from our people
Hear from Wojciech Pawlus on what it's like to work at RUSI:
I have worked at RUSI for almost 5 years now. I greatly enjoy the possibility to interact with a wide-variety of organisations and individuals both locally and internationally. RUSI has a fantastic reputation and hosts programmes focusing on a variety of international security issues. We bring our work to people from all over the world and are able to deploy on all continents depending on what we need to achieve.

I interned at RUSI for eight weeks between the second and third years of my undergraduate degree and have found it to be a hugely beneficial experience. Given RUSI’s prestige, starting an internship was somewhat intimidating, but the team that I was lucky to be a part of was dynamic, welcoming, and eager to share their skills and insights. By the end of my internship, I was a better researcher and had gained a wealth of subject knowledge and practical skills that have stood me in good stead as I go into my third year of university and beyond. RUSI is a fantastic organisation, and the opportunity to undertake an internship is unmissable.
