Episode 8: Countering Malign Information Operations: The Lithuanian Experience
The increasingly contested information domain will be determinative of whether states can muster the political capacity to meet their obligations. Countering malign information operations by a variety of state and non-state actors, operating both independently and in concert, will be critical to enabling alliances such as NATO to mobilise their latent geopolitical capacity to effect.
In this Adversarial Studies Seminar Eugenijus Lastauskas, former Director of the Lithuanian military’s Strategic Communications Department, will summarize some insights gleaned from the Lithuanian influence of countering Russian information operations. The event is chaired by Dr Sidharth Kaushal, Research Fellow at RUSI.
