RUSI Director-General recognised by Anti-Terrorism community

Professor Michael Clarke has been awarded a Commendation from the Counter Terrorism Command (SO15) in recognition of his work as an expert witness for Operation Theseus, the Metropolitan Police's inquiry into the 7/7 bombings.

The award was a Metropolitan Police Commendation from  SO 15 - the counter terrorism command - for contributions to Operation Theseus, the police operation that followed the London Bombings of 2005. Operation Theseus finally wound up this year after the final coroner's report in the summer. Professor Clarke's work was both with the Met and the Crown Prosecution Service in relation to the trials at Kingston Crown Court of those accused of helping the 7/7 bombers.
