Ep 113. What’s America Without Allies? With Kori Schake
As America's reliability wanes, host Jason Pack is joined by Kori Schake Director of Foreign and Defense Policy Studies at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) to analyse the implications for NATO and Five Eyes.
To explore the future of NATO and the Five Eyes intelligence alliance, host Jason Pack is joined by Kori Schake, a longstanding supporter of the Transatlantic Alliance and US global leadership. Kori began her career as a NATO desk officer at the Department of Defense under President George H.W. Bush and currently serves as Director of Foreign and Defense Policy Studies at the American Enterprise Institute.
In this episode, Jason and Kori consider the consequences if the United States continues to retreat from its international commitments and distances itself from its allies. They discuss the ongoing war in Ukraine, the credibility of Trump’s proposed peace initiatives, and concerns about whether his cabinet members serve as true advisors or merely amplify his views.
