Annie Snelson-Powell

Annie Snelson-Powell is an Associate Professor of Business and Society at the University of Bath, School of Management. She has been developing research about sustainability strategies in multi-national firms and higher education (HE) contexts since 2010. Her research interests primarily involve questions of policy practice alignment, and misalignment, in relation to organizational sustainability and societal pressures. She has published research in leading and high impact journals including Academy of Management Learning and Education, the Journal of Management Studies, the Journal of Business Research, Critical Perspectives in Accounting and the journal of Business and Society. Annie has also contributed work to several books in the field of HE, such as the Sage Handbook for Responsible Management Education and Emerald’s Handbook on International Higher Education (forthcoming). She has also provided commentary to leading media outlets including The Wall Street Journal and The Economist. Annie has a practitioner background and came to academia after a consulting and management career in technology industries.
