Biography
Mike Salthouse is a shipping lawyer with over thirty years’ experience in the P&I industry. He was appointed Head of External Affairs at NorthStandard in 2023.
He is a director of Maritime London. NorthStandard provides a range of marine insurance covers including, Hull, War, P&I, Strike & Delay, Offshore and Aquaculture to members, customers and brokers across the globe. A founding member of the International Group of P&I Clubs, today NorthStandard provides P&I cover to around twenty percent of world shipping.
Mike sits on several committees and working groups of the International Group of P&I clubs and chaired its Sanctions Committee between 2011 and 2022.
