Biography

Tony is a Threat, Risk and Harm consultant, with 30 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence, investigations and covert operations. His final role was Head of Drugs Threat and Intelligence with the National Crime Agency. Prior to this he was Head of Expert Evidence for Organised Crime for SOCA. As an expert witness, he contributed to some of the UK’s most complex drug trafficking investigations/court cases and designed capabilities for drugs, firearms, border security, endangered species and mining crimes.

He has represented the UK at many international forums on drug trafficking and organised crime, including specialist contributions to the UNODC, Europol and EMCDDA focus groups. He has an extensive speaker portfolio and is a qualified teacher/trainer. He continues to support international missions through TAIEX and CEPOL. His roles within national organisations involved official visits to over 40 countries.

He now collaborates to construct Strategic Action Plans and tactical responses for complex threat scenarios (UK and overseas), is an advisor on safeguarding and criminal exploitation and continues to design and deliver expert witness courses. Ongoing speaker functions include to policing, multi-agency, academia and industry audiences.
