Mike Rudd

Mike Rudd BSc (Hons), MIET, MICW, has considerable experience in the space sector as former Head of Telecommunications Strategy in the UK Space Agency (UKSA) where he created the Agency’s first Telecommunications Strategy, and as a former national delegate to the European Space Agency, managing the UK’s £300M ARTES programme for upstream & midstream proposals. Prior to that he worked in Defence for over 30-years, delivering secure communications in a number of roles across a diverse career. Most recently he was creator and service owner for a secure WAN and voice network, expanding the service to 200 locations worldwide, and managing the transition to a new contract without any outages.

Mike is a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, and of the Institute of Collaborative Working. He moved to Day One People in 2022 as Principal Consultant for Space, which delivering bid capture & management, Project Delivery and Social Value.
