Helen Ramscar is an Associate Fellow of the Royal United Services Institute. She co-authored Tipping Point: Britain, Brexit and Security in the 2020s, IB Tauris / Bloomsbury, 2019. Currently she is working on a new book on British soft power, due out in 2021.
Helen was Director of Development at RUSI from 2017-2018 and, before that, Executive Assistant to the Director-General from 2013. Prior to RUSI, she worked in China and Kenya, as well as the House of Commons, the Royal Household and the US Embassy in London. She is a graduate of Durham University, the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS, and Cass Business School, UK.
