Biography
Giulia Nicoloso is a research analyst with experience in project management. She holds an MA in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College, London and an MA in Foreign Languages for International Development and Cooperation from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan. Giulia has worked on several issues including transnational organised crime, drug trafficking (with particular reference to the Latin American region), human security and rule of law in Western Africa, and international intervention and cooperation in post-conflict situations in Sub-Saharan Africa. She joined RUSI in June 2015 as support for the team of the Cocaine Route Programme in Brussels. She supported the team in the management of the project, including drafting documents for the EC. Giulia has previously worked in international organisations such as the ILO, where she co-managed two projects implemented in Latin America and Eastern Africa. She also has extensive experience in the private sector with strategic intelligence companies as research analyst.
Giulia is now occupying the post of Project Manager of the EU CRIMSON Project at RUSI offices in Brussels.
