Rebecca Lucas
Rebecca Lucas no longer works for RUSI.
Whilst at RUSI Rebecca Lucas was a Research Analyst in Cyber Threats and Cyber Security. Her work focused on managing risks stemming from the global spread of innovation and technology. Her research interests also include the intersection of cyber security, emerging technologies, and defence policy.
Before coming to RUSI, Rebecca spent several years with Booz Allen Hamilton providing support to the U.S. Department of Defense. She primarily supported clients in the science and technology research community. She also served as a research assistant at Georgetown University’s Security Studies Program.
Rebecca holds an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University and a BA from Wellesley College with Honours in Political Science. She is currently a PhD candidate in Defence Studies at King’s College London studying military industrialisation.
