Richard Lowes
Dr Richard Lowes has worked on UK gas and heating policy issues for 15 years, starting in the gas industry. He is currently a research fellow at the University of Exeter where he previously lectured, a Senior Associate at international energy policy NGO The Regulatory Assistance Project, and a Specialist Advisor to Parliament’s Environmental Audit Committee. He lives in a fully insulated terraced house equipped with a heat pump and solar panels, which he estimates has reduced the primary energy demand of the house by 82%.
