Sophie Henderson

Sophie Henderson was a Research Analyst specializing in organized crime within the National Security and Resilience Studies team at RUSI. She holds an MSc in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where her dissertation focused on the sustainability of Tajikistan’s peace, following its civil war in the 1990s. Particularly, she’s written on how bargaining, the drug trade, and the U.S.-funded anti-narcotics programmes impacted the endurance, stability, and structure of Tajikistan’s peace. She also holds a combined honours, BA in Political Science and History from the University of Dalhousie in Canada.
