Miah Hammond-Errey

Miah Hammond-Errey works on exploring the intersections of emerging technologies and security. She is the host of the Technology & Security podcast and teaches, publishes and presents on national security, technology, cyber, intelligence and leadership. Dr Hammond-Errey spent 18 years leading national government analysis and communications activities in Australia, Europe and Asia and was awarded the Operations Medal for intelligence leadership. Dr Hammond-Errey established the Emerging Technology Program at the US Studies Centre at the University of Sydney and ran the information operations team at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute. She is the author of the book Big Data, Emerging Technologies and Intelligence: National Security Disrupted (Routledge, 2024).
