Ian Gurney
Colonel Ian Gurney is a British Army Medical Officer and has served in Cyprus, Northern Ireland, Iraq, Afghanistan and South Sudan (UN Tour). He was the head of Defence Emergency Medicine and currently chairs the NATO Emergency Medicine Panel. Recently appointed Assistant Head of the Defence Medical Services Centre for Defence Engagement, he leads a small and innovative academic and operational unit coordinating and delivering military Healthcare Engagement globally. He has a particular interest in Mass Casualty Scenarios and has published widely in this field.
