Luisa Freutel

Luisa is a graduate trainee at NATO Headquarters, Operations Division, in Brussels.

Before joining NATO, she worked at the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations (COMEXI), the Embassy of Afghanistan in Berlin, the German Armed Forces and the Economic Policy Research Institute (EPRI). Her research interests include NATO-EU relations, military operations, security and defence policies, terrorism and political violence.

Luisa holds a Master’s degree in Political Economy from King’s College London and a MA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen.
