Kieron Flanagan

Kieron Flanagan is Professor of Science and Technology Policy at the at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research, based in the Alliance Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester. He has worked on a wide range of topics in the broad field of science, technology and innovation policy, with a particular focus on policy for research-performing organisations, the mobility and migration of researchers, the international dimensions of research policy and on the role of public procurement in stimulating innovation. He has worked with or advised international, national and regional/local policy-makers and parliamentarians, and is an active commentator on science, technology and economic development policy.
