Military Sciences Rising Stars Mentee

Emma is completing her master's at King’s College London in International Peace and Security.

Currently, Emma works as a translator and writer for the Belarus Women's Foundation, an NGO supporting and advocating for female political prisoners in Belarus. She spent a summer volunteering and writing for Women in International Security, and directed and acted in numerous theatre productions during her bachelor's.

Emma completed her BA in Military History at the University of Kent, and wrote her dissertation on the strategic and tactical problems of the Soviet-Afghan War. In her MA, Emma is focusing on Russian Affairs and Environmental Security. She is also about to embark on a new research interest in the field of wargaming.
