Lord Carlile of Berriew CBE, KC

Lord Carlile of Berriew co-founded SC Strategy Ltd and became non-executive co-chair in 2024. He provides legal counsel at the company, and draws on his extensive experience as a King’s Counsel to advise SC clients on the intersection between the law and geopolitics. 

A former MP and UK independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, Lord Carlile now sits in the House of Lords as a crossbench peer and remains actively involved in public debate on counter-terrorism and extremism, national security, penal reform, and wider political issues.
