Iwan Benneyworth

Flight Lieutenant Iwan Benneyworth is a Royal Air Force officer. He has served at Air Command, Permanent Joint Headquarters and on NATO air-policing operations in Iceland. He was awarded a doctorate in International Relations from Cardiff University in 2016. His research focused on developing an analytical framework for assessing the extent of militarisation in a security situation, using the US War on Drugs as a case study. His other research interests include information warfare, counterinsurgency, nation-building, and the development and integration of artificial intelligence, robotics and bionics into military capability.
