In October 2024, Christina Lamb OBE and Lyse Doucet CM OBE became the recipients of the 35th Chesney Gold Medal, the highest award in the gift of the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI). Ahead of the award ceremony, Lyse and Christina sat down together to reflect on their careers.

Lyse Doucet CM OBE is the BBC's Chief International Correspondent, having reported for the corporation since the mid-1980s.

Christina Lamb OBE is the Chief International Correspondent for The Sunday Times, and has reported internationally for three decades.
