Reconsider size of your forces, head of US navy tells Britain

Carlos Del Toro, one of America’s most senior defence officials, said that “sacrifices” had been made in the British Army and the UK needed to ask itself if it needed to be strengthened in light of recent events. He also urged the UK to invest more in the Royal Navy after it emerged that the government plans to decommission ships to free up sailors.
