Poll Reflects Public Concerns About Police and Crime Commissioners


A YouGov-Cambridge/RUSI poll shows the public's uncertainty about the first elections for police and crime commissioners.

Most people disapprove of the fact that candidates for the position of police and crime commissioner may be sponsored by a political party. A YouGov-Cambridge/RUSI poll has found that 61 per cent of participants disapproved compared with only 11 per cent who approved.
