RUSI Research Project featured in UN Security Council Report

RUSI’s Future of Financial Intelligence Sharing research programme was cited this week in a UN report on the threat posed by ISIL.

The Secretary-General report addressed the ways in which the threat of ISIL. The sixth report of its kind, it considered how to prevent the financing of terrorism and how 'innovative partnerships between Government agencies and private sector actors' could help achieve this. The report went on to discuss the Future of Financial Intelligence Sharing programme and it's work to support the implementation of information sharing public-private partnerships in key jurisdictions.

The programme is project managed by RUSI's Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies and NJM Advisory, and is generously supported by EY, HSBC and Thomson Reuters.
