Biography

General Sir Nick Parker left the British Army in May 2013. Since his departure, he has reviewed the senior structure of the Police Service, mentored senior executives in the extraction, transport, human resources, elite sport, and legal sectors. He has also assisted with a legal study into Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip.

He is the chair of Tenacious Holdings Ltd. In the charitable sector, he chaired of the Prince of Wales’ Step Up To Serve campaign, was on the board of directors of the Invictus Games 2014 and is the chair of RE:ACT Disaster Response, mobilising veterans and emergency responders in the aftermath of international disasters.

He was the Secretary of State for Defence’s representative on the Defence Reform and Advisory Board to the MoD Ukraine from 2016 to 2019.

In 2012, he led the highly effective military reaction to the venue security crisis at the London Olympics.

He is a graduate of the UK Higher Command and Staff Course (HCSC) and a member of the Royal College of Defence Studies. He has been both the director of the HCSC and the commandant of the UK Joint Services Command and Staff College.
