Sophie Cordes du Toit
Sophie joined RUSI in 2010 where she has worked across both the Events and Membership teams. Sophie also managed RUSI’s venue, SixtyOne Whitehall, for a number of years working on hundreds of internal and external events. She is the primary account manager for RUSI’s organisation members, whilst also focused on targeting and securing new business.
Prior to joining RUSI Sophie held various events roles working on a number of high-profile events including top UK festivals, weddings and corporate functions. Sophie has a BA(Hons) in Events Management from the University of East London.

Ben Macey
Ben has been with RUSI’s Membership Team since 2017 first as a Membership Administration Assistant and later Executive. In his current role as Membership Manager, he is responsible for taking care of our Individual, Diplomatic and Academic Members as well as managing Membership Administration – including queries and payments as well as promoting the institute and its membership growth.
He has a background in Strategic Studies having completed his BA and Masters at Reading University. Ben previously worked within membership development for the British Veterinary Association prior to his time at RUSI.
