RUSI Research Fellow Emily Ferris and RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov will present the findings of a series of workshops conducted during 2019-20 that explored key security issues for the United Kingdom and the Russian Federation, and sought to identify potential areas of cooperation between Moscow and London.
Against the backdrop of a strained UK-Russia political relationship, over the past year RUSI and the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) convened a series of workshops bringing together policy and industry specialists from the United Kingdom and the Russian Federation to examine leading, and occasionally sensitive, security issues with the aim of promoting an open and constructive bilateral dialogue.
Workshop sessions focused on Africa, maritime security and the Arctic, private military companies, and rules of the information space.
