Mapping a Pandemic: Managing Instability - The Pandemic and Conflict

In this webinar, a panel of experts will consider the role of external actors, specifically aid workers, analysts and journalists during the pandemic.

They will discuss the impact of Covid- 19 on the delivery of aid, working with warring parties and militias, and other security challenges. 

Confirmed Panellists include:

  • General (Ret'd) James Cowan CBE DSO, Chief Executive Officer, The HALO Trust;
  • Lyse Doucet OBE, Chief International Correspondent, BBC News;
  • Professor Jonathan Goodhand, Professor in Conflict and Development Studies, SOAS;

The webinar will be chaired by Dr Karin von Hippel, Director-General, RUSI.
